Fantasy Drum camp
Our mission is to provide aspiring drummers with access to world-class instruction from experienced industry professionals.
This year, we expanded the curriculum by adding a music production component. Students learned the fundamentals of music production, created original compositions, and will conclude the camp by performing on the drums alongside the tracks they produced during our showcase on Friday, July 3, in the Living and Learning Center on the historic campus of Virginia Union University.
In just five days, these high school students immersed themselves in an intensive learning experience while living on VUU’s historic campus. They received hands-on instruction from industry professionals, developed their musical and creative skills, and experienced college life firsthand, all within a supportive and inspiring environment.

Fantasy Drum Camp
Experience the magic of the 2024 Fantasy Camp, where aspiring musicians came together to learn, create, and grow. Participants immersed themselves in workshops led by industry veteran Gerald Heyward, honing their vocal skills, techniques, and performance craft. Campers not only developed their artistry but also forged lasting friendships and connections that will last a lifetime.
